  • “Entre le murs” Food for thoughts
The product is a powerpoint presentation describing the guidelines to help teachers in the early identification of students at risk. A list of DO'S and DON’TS. This is also a guide to the vision of the movie “Entre le murs”, a fictional feature shot in a documentary style about a French junior high school. Its original French title is Entre les murs, literally "Between the walls" and it is based on a semi-autobiographical account of Bégaudeau's experiences as a French language and literature teacher in a middle school in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. This movie shows a lot of situations that work as examples of what the guide deals with. Particularly illuminating are the struggles with "problem children" Esmerelda, Khoumba and Souleymane.
