Description of Dissemination Event:
In the framework of the « Retrouvailles » fair organized each year at the beginning of September in Liège, INFOREF organized this year (on the 1st of September 2012) a conference on the theme of violence at school (and outside school). The conference was intended for both the school public and the associations.
The conference was carried out by experts involved in the "I’m not scared project" and in the "Stay@School" project as Professor Olgierd KUTY (University of Liège)and Thérèse LUCAS, coordinator of the School Mediation Services in the Walloon region. During the conference, Christine CLOES has presented the "Stay@School" project to the participants.
The « Retrouvailles » fair gathers each year more than 300 associations and welcome more than 35,000 visitors.
Sport, culture, health, all the sectors of the community life are represented in the wonderful setting of the Boverie Park located at the confluent of the rivers Meuse and Ourthe.
Target group:
The conference was intended for all people concerned by school violence and early school leaving: teachers, parents, headmasters, decision makers,counsellors, etc.
